Discover the charm of Porter's Farm, where you can meet our friendly Highland cows up close! Groom and stroke these gentle giants, cuddle with adorable calves, and capture the moment with memorable photos. Our farm experience offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature and learn about these fascinating animals in a welcoming environment. You will be introduced to one of us that will give you a full briefing before you start. We will then enter the field where the coos will be happily grazing. From then on, you will have plenty of time to take photos and videos of these magnificent animals, taking in the pure beauty of their huge horns and lovely shaggy coats and fringes. If you're lucky, you may even get a cow lick! Be sure to bring an apple or 2 and they will be your friends for life. - Price is per person, please be sure to select the right amount at checkout - Children are welcome but MUST be accompanied by a participating adult - Children 3 & under are free - Maximum group size: 8 people - Sensible footwear and clothing are recommended - We have no onsite parking, a 5-10 minute walk along a stone footpath is required - Dress for the farm, it may be muddy!
Cancellation Policy
Meet & Greets T&C’S * Please don’t arrive any earlier than 10 minutes before the allocated time as we are running the meet and greets back to back. *Not recommended if you're pregnant. *Parking is a 10-15 minute walk from our field, this is via a footpath running through a quarry so sensible footwear and good mobility is essential. * The meet and greets are in a field so please wear suitable footwear as animals do go for the toilet. * In the event of rain and or wind please do dress accordingly as this is outside without shelter. * As much as our animals are tame they are farm animals, some have horns and teeth! * Young children are welcome, however we do ask that they are well behaved and must be accompanied by a participating adult at all times. * Children 3 and under are free. *Dogs unfortunately are not allowed. *Please don’t chase any animals on site, if they do not wish to interact and wonder off. Please do not follow or chase them. * We ask that you respect us, our land and animals. We have the right to ask you to leave at any point during the meet and greet. * In the event of failing to show up for your booking, payment is non refundable. * This booking is for 30 minutes only unless you have booked the 1hr slot. * We do not have toilets on site. * Hand wash facilities will be available. * We are running back to back with times so if you are more than 10 minutes late we won’t be able to accommodate you. * It is possible that in adverse weather conditions, we may have to cancel the bookings at short notice. We will offer full refunds or a voucher to book another date that suits you. * If you cancel your booking less than 48hrs before there will be no refund or voucher given as it is unlikely that we will be able to fill this slot at short notice.
