​🎃 Pick Your Perfect Pumpkin

Of course, it wouldn't be Halloween without pumpkins!

Head over to our pumpkin picking area and let the children search for their perfect pumpkin. Big, small, tall, round, wonky – choosing it is all part of the fun!

Children's tickets include one pumpkin, while our family tickets include pumpkins for the children included within the ticket.

Once you've chosen your pumpkin, the fun doesn't stop there. You'll also be able to get creative with pumpkin carvingand see what masterpiece you can produce. Will yours be scary, silly, cute or completely ridiculous?

And make sure you have a go at Guess the Pumpkin Weight. Get closest to the correct answer and you could be a winner! (Additional fee applies.)
 

👻 Halloween Activities Around the Farm

We've got a whole collection of Halloween activities planned, so there will be plenty to keep little monsters entertained throughout their visit.

Follow our Spooky Farm Trail, take on the Halloween Scavenger Hunt and keep your eyes peeled as you explore – you never know what might be hiding around the next corner!

Then it's time to see how good your Halloween skills really are.

Have a go at Pumpkin Bowling, try your hand at Pumpkin Hoop Toss, launch a welly in our Halloween Welly Wanging, and see if you've got the aim to Feed the Monster.

Feeling brave? Stick your hands into our Spooky Sensory Boxes and try to work out what horrible things are lurking inside. 👀

Our budding witches and wizards can also visit the Witches' Potion Station, where things may get a little strange, colourful and messy!

And somewhere around Porter’s Farm will be a very special Golden Pumpkin…

🍬 Trick or Treat!

It wouldn't be Halloween without a little Trick or Treating!

Come dressed for the occasion and join in the Halloween fun around the farm. Witches, ghosts, pumpkins, skeletons, vampires, superheroes and monsters are all welcome.

Fancy dress isn't compulsory – although we absolutely encourage it!

There will be plenty of opportunities for some fantastic Halloween family photos too, so make sure your camera is ready.
 

🎨 Halloween Face Painting

Want to become something a little more terrifying?

Our Halloween Face Painting will be available for an additional charge, giving children the chance to complete their Halloween transformation before heading off to explore the farm.

Spider webs, pumpkins, witches, monsters and more – what will you choose?
 

🐮 AND You Get the Farm Too!

One of the best things about Halloween at Porter’s Farm is that you're not just coming for the Halloween activities.

Your ticket includes entrance to the farm for the entire day.

That means between pumpkins, potions and spooky games, you can head off and meet our wonderful animals too.

Say hello to the Highland cows, visit the pigs, sheep, goats, donkeys, horses, poultry and all the other characters who call Porter’s Farm home.

So there's no need to rush your visit. Come along, enjoy Halloween, explore the farm and make a proper family day of it.
 

☕ Make a Day of It

After all that pumpkin picking and monster hunting, you're probably going to have worked up an appetite!

Our café will be open, so you can take a break from the Halloween adventures and grab something to eat or drink before heading back out for more.

You do not need to pay farm admission to use our café, so friends or family who aren't visiting the farm itself can still pop in.

And because this is Porter’s Farm, expect plenty of proper food, homemade treats and something warming after an autumn day outside.

We're running our Halloween event on:

🎃 Sunday 18th October

and then EVERY DAY during half term from:

🎃 Saturday 24th – Saturday 31st October 2026

That means you've got plenty of opportunities to join us – including Halloween itself!
 

🌧️ Don't Let the British Weather Scare You!

It is October, it is a farm and this is England… so there's always a chance of a little mud!

Please dress appropriately for the weather and we'd definitely recommend bringing your wellies if conditions have been wet.

A little mud is all part of a proper autumn day on the farm!

Round up the family, dig out the fancy dress and prepare for a day of pumpkins, animals, potions, games, challenges and spooky surprises.

We're putting together a Halloween event that's designed to give families plenty to do rather than simply picking a pumpkin and heading home. Similar UK farm Halloween events increasingly combine pumpkin picking with animal encounters, trails, activities and all-day experiences, and that's exactly the sort of fun-filled atmosphere we're aiming to create at Porter’s Farm.
